1. Introduction

Welcome to Le Délice Parisien, a purveyor of authentic, chef-prepared French cuisine. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of meals and other products from our store, your use of our website (the "Site"), and all interactions with our brand, including our bespoke catering and temperature-controlled delivery services. By using our services and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To place an order with Le Délice Parisien, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding contract. You affirm that you will use our Site and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all our policies.

3. Account and Guest Responsibilities

You, the guest, agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account, billing, and shipping information for all purchases. Providing a correct delivery address and contact number is critical for the successful delivery of perishable gourmet food. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraudulent activity or if delivery information is incomplete or inaccurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. The individual who places the order is considered the primary responsible party for that transaction.

4. Product Representation and Artisanal Nature

Every dish sold by Le Délice Parisien is an artisanal product, prepared by hand in our kitchen. We make every effort to display our dishes as accurately as possible through high-quality photography and detailed descriptions. However, you acknowledge that minor variations in appearance, portioning, and presentation are inherent characteristics of handmade cuisine and are not considered defects. These variations are a hallmark of our 'Fait Maison' (homemade) philosophy. An order is not confirmed until you receive an official order confirmation from Le Délice Parisien.

5. Fees and Pricing

All product prices are listed in Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and added to the order total. Full payment is required at the time of order to reserve your dishes from our kitchen. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice, reflecting the seasonality and market costs of our high-quality, authentic ingredients.

6. Delivery and Receipt of Goods

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address where our courier can deliver safely. Our proprietary packaging is designed to maintain a food-safe temperature for several hours after delivery. However, as our products are perishable, you are responsible for being available to receive the delivery and for promptly refrigerating or freezing the contents. Once our courier partner confirms delivery to the specified address, responsibility for the product's condition and food safety transfers to you. Le Délice Parisien is not liable for spoilage or theft that occurs after a confirmed delivery.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Satisfaction Promise

You may cancel an order for a full refund up to 48 hours before your selected delivery day. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the delivery day cannot be refunded, as our chefs will have already sourced ingredients and begun preparation for your order. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, we stand by our Satisfaction Promise. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a dish you receive, you must contact our Guest Services Desk within 24 hours of delivery with a description of the issue and a clear photograph. At our discretion, we will offer a full or partial refund, store credit, or a replacement on a future order.

8. Intellectual Property

The "Le Délice Parisien" name, logo, website content, text, dish photography, and all related service names and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Le Délice Parisien Ltd. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to access and use our Site for personal, non-commercial use. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our brand assets or Site content is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

You agree not to use our Site for any unlawful purpose or to post any content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing. In no event shall Le Délice Parisien, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability in connection with any product purchased through our Site is strictly limited to the purchase price of that product.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms will be posted on our Site, and the "Last Updated" date will be amended. Your continued use of our services after any such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
